The last TBR post that I made was really fun, so since I finished reading all of those books, I’ve been looking for ways to make another post like that. I recently stumbled upon a website called Whatshouldireadnext.com where you type in a book you enjoyed, and it will give you a list of similar recommendations! I’m going to type in some a my favorite books, and check out some of the recommendations it gives me!
I did a post like this last year, and I can’t believe it’s already time to write it again!
School has started back for pretty much everyone, and that means summer is over. I’ll miss not having as much time to read and blog, but at least I’m really excited for fall! 🍂
This summer I read 19 books! Here are the top five best of those books:
(In no particular order)
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is hidden gems (which books haven’t been talked about as much or haven’t been marketed as strongly that you think deserve some recognition?).
I really like to discover underrated books! Sometimes you just want to read a book that doesn’t have a lot of hype around it. So I’m really excited to read the other blog posts like this today!
I’m including books that I liked, but they have less than 5,000 ratings on Goodreads. (at the time that I’m writing this post) I’ve seen a lot of people say that an underrated book should have less than 1,000 ratings, but there weren’t very many with that amount that I liked on my Goodreads shelf. I also couldn’t find ten books to feature… 😬
There have been SO MANY great sales these past few months!! On August 1st, Books-A-Million had a PENNY PER PAGE sale! So if a book had 350 pages, it would cost $3.50! (I could only choose one book in the sale though) And remember that read-a-thon gift card prize I mentioned in my July wrap up? I won it! So here are the books I bought this month:
Hi everyone, I’m back! 👋 I’ve been kind of busy recently, and I’m so behind on replying to comments and posting! And school started back today, so now I’m going to be even busier! 😥 But from now on I’m going to be trying to schedule posts at least twice a week (hopefully more), and I’ll try to reply to all of the comments every weekend!
Lots of great sequels are being released in September! And one of them is one of my most anticipated release of the year!!
⚠️ Some of the descriptions on the sequels include spoilers for the previous books. So maybe don’t read the synopsis on the sequels if you haven’t read the other books in the series!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is back to school/learning freebie. I’ll be making a list of books that I read for school. But I don’t know if I’d call these my TOP ten, because I didn’t really enjoy any of these. I’m also including books that I haven’t read yet, but I’ll have to read them in the upcoming school year.
